Mom and I ran into a couple of New England Patriots haters today who told us that they would lose on Saturday, all in good fun, perhaps. Perhaps. But don't worry, Dad: I'm getting my game face on.

Hamming It Up

My friend Jenny sometimes takes photographs of me when we visit. Dad says her photos look a lot better than the ones he takes. But whaddaya want, kid, I'm just a dumb jock, he explained, or something like that. Jenny's as close to Papparazzi as I have. I'll be seeing Jenny later today, when Mom and Dad leave me at her house so they can eat sandwiches at a fancy schmanzy deli downtown and then go to Powell's to use the gift card Uncle Buck gave them for Christmas. I think I might get some new books out of the deal. Dad said something about Henry James, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Dr. Seuss.

Daydreaming

I spent some time before the Patriots game yesterday trying out my crib, though I've yet to actually sleep in it. I like the stuffed animals that spin around above my head; at least Mom says they're stuffed animals - I see only colorful shapes moving.I cried during most of the Patriots game, as it turned out; it was a very emotional game for me.
