My New Barbaloot Suit

Here I am in my newest barbaloot suit. We like Dr. Seuss in my home.

Dad's also been reading Edward Lear to me, and I like his poems a lot. Dad said when I have teeth we can eat Crombobblious Cutlets together; Mom says we can eat vegetables together.

Of late, Mom and Dad are trying to get me to sleep in my own crib in my own room. I am crying a lot about this - I even had a dream (nightmare?) in which John Watson and B.F. Skinner played minor roles. No worries, though; I kind of like the idea of having my own room.

Relaxin'

I spent a little time on the couch today just relaxin'. Someday I'll be listening to Charlie Parker and doing the Saturday Times crossword like Dad, or my own version of that. But for now, I'm content to just kick back and daydream, somewhere between my last meal and my next bath.

What Color Are My Eyes?

Mom and Dad disagree about what color my eyes are. Mom says "blue"; Dad says "green." What do you think?

Aunt Kelly returned to North Carolina this weekend. Bye, Aunt Kelly! While she was away my cousin John went to a Monster Truck Jam.

I have been on car rides to the airport several times now; and am curious about flying. Dad says the seats are just my size. I'd like to fly to Arizona this Sunday to see the Super Bowl. Readers of this blog do not have to be told which team I'm rooting for.

Aunt Kelly Is Visiting

I met Mom's sister (aka Aunt Kelly) today. She flew in this morning, and brought her blue seat mate with her because he doesn't know anyone in Portland. Aunt Kelly, her new blue friend, and I all say Hi! to cousin John at home in North Carolina.

On Baths

Mom has been giving me a bath every night. It's good clean work for her, and I have come to like them OK, even though she wraps me up in these towel hoodie things afterwards. Sometimes I even pee in the water or spit up on myself right when the bath is done to prolong the experience.

Last night we went to our favorite restaurant, Russell Street BBQ, and Sharon, the owner, held me for the entire meal. I was very happy, and began to cry as soon as she left me with Dad.

For his part, Dad is obsessed with the AFC Championship game this Sunday. Go Pats!

Happy 3-Month Birthday to Me

I am 3 months old today. To celebrate, Mom and Dad took me to P.F. Chang's for dinner. The server said because it was my birthday I could have a free Banana Spring Roll (only 950 calories), but Mom said I didn't have any teeth yet. So I settled for milk afterwards at home.

Game Face!

People keep telling Dad that the Patriots will lose, lose, lose this Saturday and that their defense is overrated. I almost gagged when Dad told me that. Those are my boys!
