You know the nearer your destination ... the more you're slip sliding away.
I did some wagoneering in North Carolina with my cousin John; he's the big guy doing the work, while I enjoy the view.
I spent my 17th-month birthday in Cary, North Carolina, with my cousin John - that's him blowing the bubbles. I like playing ball a lot these days. Mom's sister, Kelly, John, and my Uncle Ken have a great yard for that. It was a little hot, but Mom and I survived; and we thank Kelly, John, and Ken for a great week. Mom forgot the USB cable for the camera, so we are just starting to post these now. We are back home in Oregon, where it's raining.
Sometimes before giving me a bath, Mom and Dad let me run and scream about with my blankets in hand. It's great fun - though I don't know what it says about Mom and Dad.
Dad and I listened to the Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner" on the ride home from daycare today. Right now it's our favorite song. Dad said it's definitely the greatest song ever with a line about a Stop & Shop; and the next time Jonathan Richman's in town, maybe we can go see him.
