The Many Faces of Henry

Henry likes chocolate pudding. He also had a pensive moment on a swing at the park today. And he got to touch the big elephant in the park in front of Powell's Technical Books. He wanted very much to climb and sit on the elephant but Daddy was unable to make this happen. Dad said it was not possible physically but Henry remains skeptical and still wants to climb and sit on the big elephant. Henry is not sure why he is referring to himself in the third person today. Perhaps it's all the chocolate pudding he's been eating.

Happy Belated 22 Month B-day to Me!

Here I am at play and at rest. We're a little more belated than usual this month; baby sister, Clementine, was sick and in the hospital for a while, but she is fine now. Dad hinted that pretty soon one of these birthdays is going to be a "real" one, involving pizza, hot dogs, and ice cream.

Cooling Down

It was around 100 degrees here today, so naturally I started the day bright-eyed and grinning in the air conditioned kitchen. And then went for an early-morning ride on my new bike (!) that Mom and Dad gave me, before finishing things off in the pool at my friends' Jerry, Emilie, Andrea, and Elliott's house.

Happy Belated 21-Month B-day to Me!

For my 21st month birthday we had a party for Mama, and then a week later, on July 15, I got a baby sister. Welcome to the world, Clementine!

Happy B-Day, Violet

On Sunday I went to Violet's 2nd Birthday Party. Amelia and Dahlia were there too. I could not resist taking Violet's new harmonica from her; sorry. I had lots of fun; I particularly liked the blueberries.
