For my six-month birthday, Mom and Dad took me to the beach to stay with my friends Emilie, Wade, Jenny, Andrea, and Jerry. Wade and Jenny gave me this fancy-pants contraption that spins and whirls and even has a globe that lights up. I had never been in this joint before, so the first night I cried all night instead of sleeping. Mom kept me in good spirits through the night, though.
